Sharon Ellis, O.D. is a board-licensed comprehensive optometrist. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association and the Society of Professional Optometrists. She attended Stony Brook University for her undergraduate degree and State University of New York College of Optometry for her optometry degree. She joined Georgia Optometry Group in 1991.

Dr. Ellis offers comprehensive routine eye care as well as specialty contact lens fitting. She has a special interest in helping keratoconus patients achieve better vision and improve their quality of life with mini-scleral contact lenses. Her favorite part of her job is positively impacting the lives of her patients and building long-term relationships.

She has been married to her husband for 25 years, and together, they founded a car club in 2013 (Georgia Cool Cruisers) which plans and produces car shows that benefit charity. When she is not treating patients, she loves spending time with friends and visiting her happy place: the beach.
