Iritis is a low-grade inflammation or irritation inside the iris (the colored part of the eye). Iritis is frequently associated with other inflammatory conditions in the body, including arthritis.

Once diagnosed, our Thomas Eye Care pediatric eye care specialists can treat the condition appropriately, usually with eye drops, to decrease or suppress the inflammation completely.
