Jackie Melton, O.D.

Jackie Melton, O.D. is a board-licensed comprehensive optometrist serving patients at our Hillandale location. She offers a range of services including comprehensive eye exams with prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lens, and treatment of various ocular conditions such as dry eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, among others.  

She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee after attending Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana where she received an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is an active member of the Georgia Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and Greater Atlanta Optometric Association.  

For Dr. Melton, the most rewarding part of her role as an optometrist is being able to educate patients and help them understand how to care for the health of their eyes throughout each stage of their lives. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, baking, working out and spending time with her family.
