Alla Goldberg, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialty areas in uveitis and vitreoretinal surgery. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Goldberg completed her first fellowship in uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California Los Angeles, followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and disease at Retina and Vitreous of Texas in Houston.

Dr. Goldberg splits her clinical time between her two specialties. She sees and treats both adult and pediatric patients with uveitis and scleritis, including the management of immunosuppressive agents and coordination of care with multi-specialty teams. She also has experience in complex retinal surgery in adults, management of diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular degeneration, and ocular trauma.

Dr. Goldberg is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the American Uveitis Society. She was born in Moscow, Russia, and was raised in the midwest. She moved to Atlanta with her husband, 2 young boys, and their toy fox terrier. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors with her family, the opera, entertaining guests, and travel.
