Warranty

Eyewear Policy and Warranty Coverage

We offer a one-year limited warranty on the frames we sell. The warranty covers manufacturer defects such as peeling and cracking of the frames or broken hinges, but not accidental damage such as demolished or chewed up frames.

All lenses are backed with a 90-day unconditional warranty, including up to two prescription changes as well as a frame exchange if you are unhappy with your initial selection.

Lenses purchased with a premium Crizal Anti-Glare (Sapphire, Rock, Prevencia) coating come with a one-year scratch warranty. Standard anti-glare and non-anti-glare lenses have a 90-day warranty.

*Frames and lens warranties will each generate a $25 patient co-pay (prescription changes excluded).

Contact lens warranty/return policy

We will take back any unopened, unmarked, undamaged boxes of contacts up to one year from the date of purchase*. We will issue a credit for the returned product. The credit may be used any time within the next 90 days toward new contacts, prescription eyeglasses, or nonprescription sunglasses. Monetary refunds will not be issued.

*Within the first 60 days of purchase, at no additional cost to the patient, except where a more expensive product is selected. Exchanged frames must be in new and resalable condition. Use of vision insurance may bind Thomas Eye Group to the policies and procedures of your insurance company, which may differ from and supersede the policies of Thomas Eye Group. See your optician for more details.

*Refunds will not be given for any lens selection that is lower priced than the original lens selection.

**Remakes due to physician change of prescription allowed up to 2 times within the first 90 days of purchase. For patients under 12 years of age, changes may be made up to 120 days from the date of purchase in the event of physician prescription change (exam must have been done within 60 days of purchase date). See optician for additional details.
