Stephen N. Lipsky, M.D. is a Board Certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He treats eye misalignment, tear-duct obstruction, eyelid abnormalities, cataracts, and glaucoma. He also performs routine eye care including glasses and contact lenses.
He has practiced in Atlanta since 2000. Prior to this, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Brown University and was in private practice in Rhode Island. His fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus was under Eugene Helveston, M.D. in Indiana. His residency was at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, NY. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College and subsequently from the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School. Dr. Lipsky serves as an expert for the American Academy of Ophthalmology “Ask an Expert EyeMD” program and serves as a member of the Public Education Committee for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Lipsky enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, travel and fixing things.
