After going from optometrist to optometrist and getting no relief, my primary care physician recommended Thomas Eye Group. I'm so glad that he did. Dr. Berman was able to diagnose my issue and now I'm seeing and feeling great. It's also nice that it's so close to the interstate and didn't have to wait long to see the Doctor. The entire staff does a great job, and I will definitely recommend to friends.
Had an appointment with Dr. Lipsky for our one year old. Office staff was very helpful and accommodating to families with children (short wait times!). The doctor was kind and very personable. Would recommend!
** Dr. Jeffrey Mellom is my regular optometrist and he is phenomenal! I drive down to Sandy Springs to see him, I have to have specialized contact lenses, and he is always congenial and diligent with my eye care. If a lens isn't quite right, he sends it back for another. I've been seeing him since I moved here in 2012, and am very pleased with him. BTW, I've not been kept waiting longer than 5-15 minutes for a scheduled appointment with Dr. Mellom in Sandy Spings.
Great experience start to finish! The complimentary valet is so helpful - two guys helped me out of my car and get my Grandma's walker from the trunk. My Grandma nearly fell, but as one of the guys was handing me my ticket, the other guy was helping her out of the car and to her walker. The young lady at the front desk gave me a friendly hello and directed my Grandma and me to the kiosk/waiting area. The doctor my Grandma saw was kind and helpful and he made sure we both understood exactly what needed to happen on her visit and the ongoing care. I highly recommend going here for all of your Eye Doctor needs.
Nothing but good things about Thomas Eye Group. I needed strabismus surgery (don't look it up --it's kinda gross. Also, it's sorta fancy for lazy eye), which was diagnosed by the gang at Thomas. Everyone was super nice and friendly. I had surgery on both my eyes that only took about 45 minutes. Went home right after that. Apparently, double vision is not normal and after a couple days, I could see just like everyone else. If the rest of the practice is anything like what I experienced, I recommend everyone to at least check them out.
