Upon my entering I observed the cleanliness of the office. And was immediately greeted by Shelly the recept9. She was very pleasant and professional as well as patient. My expe6with Dr Phoenix and her assistants was also a very pleasant experience. She took the time to not only diagnose a problem but informed me that surgery was not, in her opinion my best option. It was an all out extremely gratifying and remarkable experience for a new patient. Thank You.
This was my first visit and as I walked in the door it must have been 20 or more people in the waiting area I told myself this is going to be a very long day Within minutes a very nice office staff greeted me and asked me to sign in using the kiosk This was quite simply and easy Five minutes later I was called to the front desk to complete my check in As I prepared for a long wait, my exams started almost on time, this was amazing!! I have had many eyes examined in my life but this guy was the best, he took his job to another professional level, Communication and interaction and everything. Then came Dr. Stephen, a little man with a big clear voice. He looked at my exams explaining every detail, this man is the god of Eyes- he was good. I told my wife that explain why people are lined up to see the doctor. Thomas Eyes Group is a five star. I was totally impressed. Note: my wife have her first appointment later today
After reviewing MANY reviews, I felt compelled to respond after choosing to wait about 4 months , since a family member had MULTIPLE, and i do mean MULTIPLE appointments and surgeries with two doctors on staff. It is fascinating to see the frustration of several referencing wait times. Well, when you want the best, and if you are late, expect that sometimes, we wait. Every time we arrived in a timely fashion, our waits? What waits. Next thing i kbew were were in line to leave. If we have had to wait, sometimes, it was because we were late or, tge doctor had an unexpected case that required more if their time. I like kbowibg that if aoneone as an emwrgency, that emergency takes priority. That meabs if we have an emwrgebcy abd if we need mire time, we get. I like knowing that Qe also noticed if you arrive 10 minutes early, bring your fav book or peruse those awesome eyewear, you seem to gwt called qhen you wish you had more time. We chose this group because of the exceptional training of ALL their docs. Not some. ALL. We have seen Dr. WALLACE & Dr Sackel. Both performed several procedures on each eye to prepare for cataract surgery. Prior to surgery, the vision was poor and both eye pressures > 20. One eye was real bad. The most we had hoped for, was to get the surgeries completed, stents placed and new prescription eyewear Well guess what? Her vision is almost perfecta AND there is no need for prescription glasses. We had our near final post-op, follow up, today, and return in 2 months. The vision is practically normal and the pressures are normal with drops. She may require readers on display from the department store, if she would like, but, that's it! Patients need to know about clinical competence and expertise of the clinicians they see, so frankly, we did not care if we had to wait. We are very greatful to wait and greatful we chose this group.
This office is incredibly efficient. The staff are really kind. They even provide free snacks while you wait.
