Dana J. Wallace, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma management including trabeculectomy, express shunts, glaucoma tube shunts, and glaucoma lasers among many others. She also performs cataract surgery.
Prior to joining Thomas Eye Group in 2012, Dr. Wallace was in private practice in Chattanooga where she was the director of glaucoma services at SouthEast Eye Specialists, PLLC. She received her doctor of medicine in 2005 from Duke University School of Medicine where she earned the Dean’s Recognition Award and also completed a clinical research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.
Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in 2006, Dr. Wallace completed her residency in Ophthalmology at Duke University Medical Center in 2009. She went on to complete a fellowship in glaucoma at Duke University Eye Center.
Dr. Wallace enjoys ballroom dancing, fitness, movies and also plays the harp in her free time.
