Yuri McKee, M.D.

uri McKee, M.D. is a Board Certified ophthalmologist. He completed his fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the Emory Eye Center. His field of expertise includes corneal disease, complex anterior segment surgery, and refractive surgery. His background includes a BA in Psychology from Minnesota State University, a Masters Thesis in Developmental Neurobiology, and a MD from Loma Linda University in CA. Dr. McKee graduated from the LSU/Ochsner residency program in New Orleans, LA, where he studied comprehensive and subspecialty areas of ophthalmology. He holds a US patent for the development of a novel; Sustained Ocular Surface Drug Delivery System.
Dr. McKee was a flight surgeon in the US Air Force and the medical director of the Aerospace Medicine Clinic. He served as primary care, aviation medicine specialist, and hyperbaric specialist for the largest combat wing in the Air Force. Dr. McKee received numerous military awards while stationed in Arizona and in Japan. Dr. McKee is married with two children. He enjoys flying, scuba diving, traveling and time with his family.
