Larry E. Heit, M.D.
Larry E. Heit, M.D. is a Board Certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He has successfully performed over ten thousand cataract and refractive surgical procedures in his career. Although he specializes in surgical ophthalmology, he has a bustling general ophthalmology practice and values the relationships he has with his patients.
Dr Heit received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from State University of New York in Brooklyn. He completed a fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery at the prestigious Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor’s College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
In addition to his medical training, he has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University. He has four children including identical twin girls. He loves riding his bicycle and motorcycle on the back roads of Northern Georgia. His wife, Stacey, is a psychiatrist in private practice in Alpharetta.
Dr. Heit is committed to the highest standards of patient care and is proud to serve his patients and the North Fulton community.
