Learn How To Find What You Want
To perform a simple search, type one or more words in the Search box in the top right column and click the "Go" button. Leave a space between each search word. The Search will return a list of Web pages from www.ThomasEye.com that match your criteria.
To make your search more effective, do the following:
- Be specific. Try using terms that are unique, adding descriptive words, and enclosing the phrase in double quotes. For example, a search for "doctor" may give you too many results. If you're really looking for LASIK doctors, specify "LASIK doctor."
- Add synonyms. If you get too few results, or if the Search doesn't find what you're looking for, add synonyms to your original words. For example, rather than searching for "contact lens," specify "daily-wear contact lens."
- Check your spelling. A single misspelled or mistyped word can significantly change your results.
- Learn from your results. Your search may not return exactly what you're looking for, but scanning the results may give you ideas for other terms.
- Use Advanced Search. The Advanced Search function gives you greater control over the search terms and how the results are displayed.
